CPS/CAP Exam Details
The Certified Administrative Professional (CAP) exam takes 9½ hours and is composed of four parts over 1½ days. It is offered on the first Saturday in May and November at locations throughout the world (and the preceding Friday afternoon). Since the first Certified Professional Secretary (CPS) exam in 1951, over 62,000 administrative professionals have achieved the CPS rating. Since the CAP exam was introduced in 2001, almost 3,000 people have passed the exam.
