Rock River Chapter
Receiving its charter in 1952, the Rock River Chapter of IAAP has a long and proud history of serving office professionals in the Illinois Quad Cities and surrounding communities. Membership in IAAP provides office professionals with opportunities for personal and professional growth, leadership training, and networking at the local, state and international levels. Rock River Chapter values its role as a community service organization, volunteering hours and supporting charitable endeavors in the area. The chapter also sponsors a collegiate chapter located at Black Hawk College in Moline, IL.
IAAP recognizes that by living in the Information Age, office professionals must stay in the forefront of current events and technological changes in order to increase their productivity. Members of IAAP receive the tools and knowledge necessary to become more effective contributors to their organizations. The Rock River Chapter has accepted the challenge to provide these opportunities to our members.
Meeting Information
The Rock River Chapter meets on the 2nd Monday of each month at The Larson Center, Silvis, IL. Dinner is at 6 p.m. and the program and business meeting follow at 7 p.m. Continuing Education Units, or CEUs, may be offered for some programs once the schedule is finalized.
